Happy Bottom initially began as the summer location spot for the Cosner family and their friends, nestled next to the river in Petersburg, West Virginia. After falling in love with this beautiful area in Grant County, the couple decided to open up the property to share with tourists and guests, starting with the red cabin near the "River Bar" excitement. Throughout the years, additions were made with even more accommodations. After a couple of years renting this peaceful space, Tim and Darlene decided to enhance the Happy Bottom experience by adding another short term rental in Thomas, WV (another gorgeous location popular amongst the West Virginia mountains). Soon, two additional rental listings were added in Thomas which lead to the creation of "Happy Bottom North." Tim & Darlene have become well-known in the area for their exceptional hospitality and take pride in offering you a clean and cozy stay in the heart of some of West Virginia's most popular attractions.
